Drinking together

Yesterday, Julie was lying on the floor drinking her bottle. Ben came by, looked at her and then went and got his milk and layed down beside her.

Out Numbered Four to One

Shelle's kids spent the night and have been here all day. Lisa had to work this morning so it was just me and the kids. I think they had a good time. Ben liked to sit next to Ehryn. Mickeys Number round up came on and most of my hats came out.

Special Assignment

The TV was on and Ben was playing with his toys. Special Agent Oso came on and as soon as Ben realized that the special assignment was tying shoes he stopped what he was doing and was fixed to the TV. Once the show was over, he grabbed his shoe with the laces and started working on them, so I started the show over for him. It is still beyond him, but he was sure trying.

Just can't win

I had the gates closed and Ben was upstairs in bed. Ben has figured out how to get the right leverage to yank the top gate open, and he cam down for more milk. When he got to the bottom gate, he tried to go under it. He was able to get his body through, but got his head stuck. I got him more milk and he went back up, but Julie saw an open gate and went to follow him up. So I guess we can neither have the gate open nor closed, someone will find a way to get into trouble.

Standing Tall

Julie is able to pull herself up against stuff to a standing position.

Ben loves tools and he loves to help. He was helping me today. He did pretty good with the hammer.

The Kid Cave

We have been slowly getting the basement organized. The big room in front we were leaving for a kid play room. There is still a lot left to do, but it is nice to be able to have the kids watch a movie and play while doing the laundry. It even has a train and Tom's foosball table. The projector is getting old but is still good enough.

They were here for 10 hours. We now have a new furnace and central air. They had a hammer drill going for several hours this morning while Lisa had the kids at the park. They still have to come back to run the feed for the back room and run the air return from the upstairs. Now we need to play with the thermostat to figure out the best temp.
