The Niagara Aquarium
Lisa took the weekend off because today is her birthday. Yesterday we went up to the Niagara Aquarium. We all had a great time.

Pizza and Chicken!
Yesterday, I asked Ben what he wanted for lunch, and he said pizza and chicken. I went down stairs and got a frozen pizza and he said, “No, Pizza AND Chicken.” He ate the pizza, but under protest. Today, on our way home, we stopped at Lisa’s work. Lisa suggested we order pizza and wings for dinner and gave Ben the money for it. His eyes lit up and he repeated pizza and chicken all the way home. I ordered it on the way home. When we got home Ben grabbed the menu and his phone and the conversation went like this, “HI. Pizza and chicken…. uh- huh… and umm (pointing to something on the menu) cookie… Bye.”

Tech in training
We had dinner over at Mom and Dads today. While we were there, after we ate Ben had my pager on his belt. I sent a page to it and he presses the button to silence it and ignores it. Then I was paged tonight, so I go into the office here at home, jump on the computer and call the user. As I was talking them through the issue, in walks Ben with a toy phone talking up storm. Maybe next time I should hand him my phone and let him take care of their issue.

Not so good vibrations
They have been driving supports of some kind into the ground near the new building next to the hospital. We have been dealing with an almost constant rumbling in our building. You can kind of get an idea of the motion from the bobble head. I was just going to record the motion of the monitors, but that did not show up very well on video, so I grabbed Einstein off my shelf.

Shoes on
Yesterday, Ben got impatient and surprised us by putting his shoes on by himself. So today I handed him his shoes and told him to put them on. The first one went on without an issue, then I pulled the camera out and he played it up for the camera. Both days he was able to get them on the correct feet.

Big Girl
This is where Julie wanted to sleep tonight. We will see how this goes tonight. She so wants to be a big girl. The other day we went out for breakfast. Julie refused to sit in the high chair. We ended up letting her sit in the bench right beside me. She did real well there and we discovered she is able to drink from a straw.
