Recount

I am vetoing Squeaky Moe and calling for a revote. No, Lisa you cannot name the baby Squeaky Moe just because it won.

Spring in Buffalo

There was a little bit of fresh snow this morning... I still think we are in for atleast one more good snow storm this year.. we will see.

Car Accident

Lisa and I were in a car accident last night. We are ok and the baby is ok. No one was hurt. We were on our way home from dinner with her family about 6:45. We were driving South on Niagara Falls Blvd and was going through a green light at Sheridan. This girl going North on the blvd made a left onto Sheridan right in front of us. There was another vehicle going South that blocked this girl from our view. Lisa did not see her until we hit the car. Thankfully I was able to see her soon enough to start breaking but not soon enough to miss her. When she was explaining what happened to the police, she said that she thought she had a green turn light, but knows she was in error. The bumper and the bracket for the one headlight is all that broke on my truck. Her car is in worse shape. She will not be able to open the rear passenger door and maybe not the front passenger door either. lisa called her doc when we got home and then went to Suburban Hospital to make sure the baby was fine. She wanted to see the turn signal that the girl though she had and there is a no left turn sign there.

Looking like an easy week

This is the kind of week I like... It is the second week in a row that I am not on problems during the day, so most of the problems had are resolved and I just have a handful of requests in my queue. I decided that rather than pull a bunch of request into my queue, I will mostly help other techs this week. I will probably end up pulling some request in my queue, but not too many. They tend to let me do what I want, so I want to see if this will help out everyone this week. Sometimes I like the really busy weeks, but these weeks where I do whatever are good change.

Aren't Camera phones Great?

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. I got my current phone a little more than a year ago. I origianly got this model to play around with and understand the remote syncing of outlook Email. Administration were all getting a similar device so they could always have a current calendar, email, and contacts always with them and they tend to come to we with all their problem. I have since decided it was not worth having my outlook account wireless sync if Kaleida was not paying for the phone. I am able to save about $40 a month by not having the internet service on my phone. Now, back from the tangent... I use the camera on the phone a lot. When I see something I want to show Lisa, when I see something I want to blog about a do not have another camera with me, or at work when I really want to get a point across. My team lead thinks it's great when ever there is a photo attached to my emails, and thinks its wonderful that I always have a camera with me. It is a very useful tool sometimes.
