Birthday Party

We had Ben's birthday party today. He seemed to have a lot of fun. It went well.

On the run!

Ben does not like the feel of the grass under his feet but as soon as he hits the blacktop he is off. I will take him in from the back yard and leave him in the mud room and go get the rest of the stuff. He waits by the back door and as soon as I open it back up, he is out the door, around the house and down the driveway. If you try to block his path, he will circle around and try to trick you.

Happy birthday Ben

Ben turned 1 yesterday. He had a lot of fun with the balloon. We sat out back watching the birds for a while. He will sit and watch with me for an hour plus.

Poll results or lack there of

I had a theory that no one payed attention to the side bar. To test this theory, I put a poll in the side bar asking if any pays attention to it. Poll closed after one week and there was 0 votes. Interesting... I blame feed readers.

We have been looking to get a new fence this year. We have started clearing the bushes and trees from the fence line. I took these photos this morning, and when I got out there, there was three squirrels examining a tree that we cut in half. I don't think they were too happy with us.
