Ben said he had owies and asked for bandaides for his fingers. I did not see any cuts or anything, he just wanted the bandaides.

Christmas Cookies

We made Christmas cookies today. Lisa baked them all day and then family came over to help decorate.

Such a Big Girl… Eating at the table

Energizer Bunny just ran out of energy

Can you believe Ben is asleep on the living room floor? He normally has so much energy, but he has been sick with croupe. He was helping me put together a bookshelf, I went into the other room and when I came back he was asleep on the floor. Poor boy.

Not so Ben proof

We had put child safety covers in all the electrical outlets in the house. We keep finding them everywhere but the outlets. We had a night light on the landing on the stairs and then the other day I found it laying on the landing. It was pulled part into three pieces, the base, the light and the cover. I pushed it off to the side and was going to take care of it later. Then, Ben came down the stairs and sat on the landing for a little bit. He then came down the stairs. Later, I went up stairs and as I passed the outlet, there it was, put back together and plugged in. I sometimes think he is too smart for our good. It is not enough to be childproof, we have to have things Ben-proof. I am not so sure that is attainable.
