New Pool

 

We got the kids a new pool so that we could sit in it with them. They spent several hours in it this afternoon.

Canal Fest

 

Today we went to canal fest. We wanted to get there early before it got too busy. We got there around 2, and started to walk around. None of the games or rides were open. At the ticket booth, we found that due to the extreme heat, everything was going to open at 5 rather than the normal time of 2. Ben was very disappointed. We went and got some other things done and then went back to canal fest around 5 and spent a few hours playing games and going on rides. Every one had a great time. Ben did very good with the darts and popped several balloons. Ben really enjoyed the pony ride and a few of the other rides. He was not at all thrilled with the fire truck ride once it got going. Julie did not like the pony ride, but enjoyed everything else.

Sonogram

 

Lisa just got back from the sonogram. Everything looks good.

Julie has been carrying this dog around for the past week or so. She tries to take it every where. I think had has accepted that it is no longer his.

July 4th

We went with Lynne to Niawanda Park for the fireworks on the 4th. We had some ice cream and Ben was excited to finally be able to watch the fireworks (big booms). Mary was able to meet us there and we enjoyed the fireworks. Ben took some good photos which were posted earlier.
