Trip to the Johnson’s – Day two

 

We spent most of Friday back at the Johnson’s. We were in their pool for the better part of the day. Julie did not last too long, because she was tired and ended up going down for a nap. Ben was fine with this pool as long as he was able to sit on one of the rafts. He and I ended up staying out there long after everyone else went in the house. For a while there he was kind of funny. He found the skimmer and was going around the pool cleaning out leaves and what not. Then he took it out on the raft and was using it as a paddle.

Trip to the Johnson’s

 

We drove up to Grandpa and Grandma Johnson’s house on Thursday. Both Charlie and Megan were there too. After spending time with everyone, we spent the night at Brookwood Inn. This was a nice place to stay. We checked out the indoor pool they had there. Ben did not want to stay in the pool because it was too deep. If he cannot touch the ground and keep his head above the water,  he does not want to be in it. Julie just loves the water.

Ben was not too interested in taking photos today. He did get some odd photos of the back side of some cows.

She’s sleeping in my Bed!

 

I take Ben up to bed. He runs into his room, goes to his bed, stops, turns around and says to me, “She’s sleeping in my bed.” I go, ok, come with me. We grab the camera, take a couple of photos and then I move Julie back to her bed as Ben is trying to push his way into his spot. We may be in trouble if Goldilocks plans on taking over that bed.

Trading up?

 

I took Ben up to bed and this is what we found. Julie had put her cow pillow and blanket and put it by the door, and had taken Ben’s turtle pillow and blanket off his bed and taken them to her bed. When Ben realized where his turtle and blanket were, he ran over and ripped them away from her. Luckily Julie did not wake up.

Gone Batty

 

I got a call this morning that Mom and Dad had a bat in the house and were having issues convincing it to leave. I left work and went over there. It was hiding in a corner, sleeping. It was too far in the corner for the net, so I grabbed a piece of molding and and started to poke it. It would just bite the stick, then after a while it started to yell at it. It finally climbed onto the stick and I was able to put the net over it and take it out side.

New Kitchen Faucet

 

I got a call at work yesterday that Lisa was having an issue with the sink. When she would turn on the water, it would pour in under the sink. There were several parts wearing out on the old faucet, and we decided to just replace it. I managed to take care of it last night and it looks good.
