There is a couple of openings on Dad's team and some of my team think I should apply for it. I am not qualified nor have the knowledge base to be on it yet. They say dad will not let me blow anything up
If you can get a job that raises your skill level, while allowing you the leeway to learn things, why not do it? Especially when you have the connections (Dad) to help you succeed at it.

It's worked well for me.
I talked to dad about it. He said it doesn't hurt to apply, if nothing else it may be a way to practice interview skills.
