I turned on Finding Nemo this evening and Ben went and found his clown fish bath toy. He held it and watched the movie for a while. I thought it was funny.
Bait and Switch?
Lisa's desktop died this week. After narrowing down the issue, we decided to buy a new one. We looked online to get some ideas and Lisa went to Office Max last night and bought one. We set it up and found that there was no card reader on the front. Their website clearly states that there is a Front-panel 6-in-1 memory card reader and the photo on the site has a card reader on the front. Lisa confirmed that it had a card reader with a few employees at the store when she bought it. Lisa took it back to the store this morning and was told it must be a corporate issue and she would have to talk to them. Lisa then went to another OfficeMax and was told basically the same thing. Lisa is feeling ripped off at this point. It appears to be a case of false advertising, or bait and switch. I just got another call from Lisa and she found a manager at one of the stores willing to help. He talked to corporate and will be giving Lisa an external card reader and replacing the tower as there is a scratch on it. I hope they at least apologized too. Not happy enough to not post this, but there will be no letter to their corporate headquarters.

Which Bed Part 2
After a little bit of a gap, Ben started sleeping in a real bed again. The past couple of nights he went down on his toddler bed, but when we checked on him through out the night he was on the bigger mattress. Evan needed a bed and so Lisa sent the extra one that was in Ben's room over and the mattress was left on the floor. I guess the toddle bed is not good enough for Ben.

Which Bed?
Ben wants so bad to be a big boy. He will jump on the couch and sit next to me, well for a minute and the he is off again. He will try to use a fork and spoon to eat. He saw Evan do a somersault and he wanted to too. He put his head and hands on the ground and could not go further.
At bedtime, for a while now, he would go up to his room and jump into the toddler bed, but not want to stay there and if we shut his door tightly, he would throw a fit. Then we would end up putting him in the crib. Last night I took him up there and left him in his bed and shut the door. He fussed for about a minute and then I heard him run around for about five minutes, and then all I could hear on the baby monitor was his breathing and the ticking of the clock. When I went up there later to check on him, he was fast asleep on the toddler bed. About 11 he wanted more milk. I went and got it and gave it to him and he walked back to the bed, got in and went right back to sleep. At this point I was thinking okay, he really wanted to sleep in a bed and we are done with the crib. Then at 5 this morning he was done and wanted back in the crib. Well, 9 hours for the first night in a real bed is not bad. Lets see how this goes.
